Assemblymember Cecelia González represents Nevada's Assembly District 16. A Thai-Mexican American, daughter of immigrants, and lifelong Nevadan, she is dedicated to public service, education, and community advocacy. A first-generation college graduate, educator, organizer, and activist, she has spent more than a decade advancing education, criminal justice reform, women's health, economic opportunity, and other issues impacting Nevada families. Inspired by her family's resilience and her own experiences, Cecelia is passionate about creating opportunities for underserved communities. As an educator, mother, and legislator, she remains committed to empowering others and building a more equitable future for all Nevadans.
