Since 2007, our elected leaders have imagined growing the Latino footprint of public servants. We’ve successfully grown from 2 Hispanic members in the state legislature to 8, but there is still more to do. Latinos comprise 30.3% of the Nevada population, 21% of all eligible voters, and yet only represent 14% of our state legislators. Across the state, there are still municipalities and levels of government where there are no Latinos in elected or appointed office at all. This is why we exist.
